  Warranty

New Goods sold come with a minimum 12 months return to base warranty. In cases of printers, laptops, Branded PCs & Monitors, (unless DOA) the warranty is direct with the manufacturer & returns should be handled direct (monitors are usually swapped out by the manufacturer & printers are usually repaired or replaced depending on the fault). (New Laptops under warranty are usually covered by the manufacturer with a Collect and return service); therefore any problems should be directed toward the manufacturer for a quicker result. If you do not wish to direct faulted goods to the manufacturer we will handle this for you but this process can take up to 28 days as we cant deal direct we have to send it off to the distributor who in turn sends if off to the manufacturer who in turn sends back the repaired item back to the distributor and then back to us and then back to the customer when a simple phone call to the manufacturer direct could see you item replaced within a much shorter time frame, the manufactuers offer this direct service to try and help customers & cut down on time & freight when replacing faulty goods. Customers are responsible for costs of returning and collecting items under warranty.

Please check Manufacturer websites  for the latest Warranty Contact Details and more information on how to contact the manufacturers repair centres direct.

 Testing

We do not charge a testing fee on parts purchased from Falcon Computers Ltd but items must be returned as sold in original boxes and undamaged, However if you have purchased multiple parts from Falcon Computers & bring them back assembled, we will cannot test them for free, If you want us to get them working for you then they must be booked in for our technical staff to correct the problem charged at a fixed fee of £24 Inc VAT. If software is at fault then £48 Inc VAT will be charged for fixing/reinstallation (this must be agreed with the customer before any work is done on your pc). Example: If you want to purchase parts & build them up yourself, you are deeming yourself as capable to do so. We cannot be held responsible for your PC building/technical skills, but we can put them right at a fixed fee of £24 per hour, if you do have a faulty part you as deeming yourself capable of building a system should bring the diagnosed faulty part back for testing, not the faulty system you have built yourself. We will test a maximum of 2 parts free after this a £15 charge will be incurred for technicians time. Falcon offer a full PC build service from only £69 Including VAT for a complete system build & configuration of the software (either purchased or supplied) if you do not deem yourself as capable to build a system & diagnose any problems then we suggest you use our building service just as you would if it were your car & your brakes were faulty.

 Swap out Warranty

Unlike most of our competitors Faclon Computers Ltd. will swap any goods that are found to be faulty after testing (and not damaged in any way) brought back for exchange within the first 90 days from date of purchase, after this period the goods will be sent back to the manufacturer for repair or exchange. This by law is within our rights & not negotiable. In extreme cases (only where you as the customer cannot operate your PC without the item you have brought back) we will offer you a substitute product from our RMA department until your product has been returned by the manufacturer.

Stock in Constraint

Due to the current shortages (September 2020 onwards) of Graphics cards and some CPUs we are restricting sales to 1 per customer / household, any orders placed for more than the maximum allowance will be cancelled to allow other customers access to the limited stock. Any Video Cards returned that are suspected to have been used for coin mining will be sent back to the manufacturers to assess if the warranty has been voided with Bios updates or miss use of overclocking/voltages.

 WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.  In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste. Many electrical   items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment.  If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health. We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items when purchasing a new item from us, please contact us for further details. To  remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
